Since 2007 World Autism Awareness Day has been celebrated on 2nd April.
The day celebrates the achievements of people who have autism.
The activities are held to increase knowledge and understanding of autism, aiming to foster worldwide support and inspire a kinder, more inclusive world.
Our colourful world turns BLUE
Students are making flowers to build together a beautiful flowerbed.
On World Autism Awareness Day our lower secondary school students created a planter by recycling some wooden pallets.
The flowers in different shades of blue want to be a symbol of hope and openness to the other because "No flower is like another, beauty lies in their variety".
The planter was donated to the town of Roncadelle where it is currently exhibited.
At the cerimony our head teacher, the deputy mayor and councilor for culture.
“No obstacle can stop you as long as the desire to fly is stronger than the fear of falling”.
On "Awareness on Autism World Day" 2 April our primary school students built blue butterflies. The lightness and delicacy that makes them unique remembe that, like butterflies, we are unique too.
Every year, our Comprehensive Institute celebrates this day and we all feel like butterflies free to fly in the air, light, majestic but fragile. We are aware of the people with autism frailty and together we can overcome obstacles to be stronger.
